Spotlight on Doral's Community Strengthening Activities in Israel During the 'Iron Swords' War

Doral Energy operates through partnerships with kibbutzim and moshavim across the country, from the north to the south. Over the years, personal connections have been forged between Doral employees and members of these communities. Hence, with the onset of the war, Doral received numerous requests for assistance from evacuees, initially from the Gaza border area and later from the northern region, as well as from soldiers across the country.

Employees of the Company worked tirelessly day and night in collaboration with the “Connections Operations Center – Iron Swords” (and even took part in its management) to fulfill the requests of the evacuees. This included securing alternative housing and donations of basic products such as hygiene items, baby formula, clothes, bedding and blankets, computers to set up online classrooms, and portable chargers. They also handled the transportation of numerous items across the country and the delivery of equipment, food, and meals to reserve soldiers.

Due to a labor shortage in the agricultural sector, 15 company employees volunteered for a day of pomegranate picking at one of the partner kibbutzim. The total number of volunteer hours by employees during the initial weeks of the war reached hundreds. We are proud of our employees’ dedication and meaningful contribution.
