Doral is an entrepreneurial company that fundamentally relies on its human capital, professionalism, reliability, and business acumen. At the beginning of 2023, Doral formulated a Fair Employment, Diversity and Inclusion Policy that is publicly available on the Group’s website.

Our employees are our full partners in the Company’s activities and growth.

Doral employs 122 people in Israel. The Company’s operations in Europe and the United States are managed through subsidiaries (employing 37 employees), whose staff are included in this report.

The management places utmost importance on preserving and developing the Company’s human capital, which is our central asset. We believe in the value of professional, dedicated, and motivated employees who are connected to Doral’s entrepreneurial vision for a green and sustainable future. To this end, management ensures and creates a flexible, pleasant, supportive, educational, and trust-based work environment.

In 2023, a Human Resources Director was appointed, who established a structured framework for managing the domain and work plans in the areas of compensation, welfare, employee recruitment, diversity and inclusion, development and promotion of employees, internal communication, and more. Every new employee joining Doral undergoes a personal on-boarding meeting, receives a kit with all the necessary information, and participates in a dedicated orientation session.

During the year, employee evaluations were conducted after separate and personal training sessions with all managers to prepare them for the process, including simulations. Nearly 100% of the employees underwent the evaluation (except for a few whose managers are absent due to the current geopolitical situation). The employee evaluation process was integrated into the organizational portal and is available to managers and employees.

In terms of employee welfare, benefits are provided to address relevant events in employees’ lives, in addition to participation in an annual company day, happy hours, and more. Due to the current geopolitical situation and its complexities, managers were provided with tools for emergency management.

In 2024, the channels of dialogue with employees will be expanded, alongside the development of structured management development programs.

Currently, we are establishing a structured management framework for the topic will continue to ensure Doral remains a family to its employees committed to the goal of ensuring that the Company continues to function as a safe and prosperous place for growth. Our motto in this regard is —Doral is ‘home’.

Fair Employment

We are committed to providing our employees with a safe, healthy, supportive, and challenging work environment. We invest considerable resources in their optimal management, development, and personal and professional growth, ensuring ergonomic adaptation. We encourage teamwork and collaboration.

We strictly adhere to human rights, privacy, respect, fairness, and employee rights according to laws and agreements. The Company management operates with an understanding of employees’ needs and maintains ongoing dialogue to align expectations and build effective communication channels. As of 2023, the lowest salary at Doral is about 115% higher than the minimum wage in Israel, and the average salary at the company is 514% higher than the minimum wage.

Our operational approach is provide freedom of action by placing full trust in our employees and the core principles of the Company. Employees’ performance is measured by their outputs and the quality of their work, granting them the autonomy to determine their work location and hours, in coordination with their department managers. Similarly, the policy allows employees to take vacation and sick leave as needed.

The employment terms of the Company are regulated by personal contracts that vary from employee to employee and are determined based on each employee’s skills, education, and role. The personal agreements set out the terms of salary, vacation, recuperation, notice period, severance pay (including, Section 14 of the Severance Pay Law), sick leave, pension and education fund contributions, additional benefits, and confidentiality and non-compete commitments, all as relevant and in accordance with the applicable law in each country. Additionally, as of the report date, the Company has allocated to a trustee, stock options for eight employees in Israel, and the U.S. subsidiary Doral LLC has allocated stock options to 17 employees and officers (in the U.S. and Israel). Apart from the vacation and sick leave provisions regulated in the employment agreements, the Company practices full flexibility in absence due to illness and vacation. Our employees are measured by their performance, and the Company sets high standards while giving them significant trust.
