Carbon Footprint and Emissions Prevention

Carbon Footprint – Israel and United States
• Scope 1: Greenhouse gas emissions from fuel consumption from routine operations.
• Scope 2: Indirect greenhouse gas emissions from Doral's energy purchases for operating facilities and offices (including the U.S. in 2023).
• Scope 3: Emissions released from our indirect activities, including emissions from panel production (based on the Ecoinvent database), emissions from significant suppliers (as declared in the supplier assessment conducted during 2022 and 2023), flights, water consumption, wastewater treatment, and panel waste landfill. Emissions in categories 1, 5, and 6 according to the GHG Protocol.

By 2030, Doral's cumulative contribution to global emissions reduction is expected to reach 11,689,734 tons of CO2.

The calculation of avoided emissions in Israel is calculated based on data from the Ministry of Environmental Protection. For the U.S., it is based on data from the EPA, and for Europe, it is based on the electricity grid emissions data as per local factors of each country separately.

Emissions savings are calculated based on the production rate and addition of facilities during the year, as of the end of that year. The company publishes forecasts up to the year 2026, and therefore, the data for 2027-2030 are a doubling of the 2026 data.

In 2023, the data of the infrastructure provider with whom the activity was stopped was not included. This supplier is included in the list of essential suppliers in 2022 according to the scope of activity for that year
